Susan Comfort signed 'Geo Bellows' (lower right) oil on canvas 22 x 18 in. (55.9 x 45.7 cm.) Painted in 1916. Evening Blue (Tending the Lobster Traps. Early morning) bears inscription 'Geo. Bellows/E.S.B.' (lower left) oil on panel 18 x 22 in. (45.7 x 55.9 cm.) Painted in 1916.
